DAY 1: HANOI – NGHIA LO (/L/D)
Depart to Nghia Lo via Tay minority area. Upon arrival, visit a White Thai ethnic village. Overnight in Nghia Lo.
DAY 2: NGHIA LO - MU CANG CHAI (B/L/D)
Proceed to Mu Cang Chai. This region is decorated by terraced rice fields and colourful traditional dress of the Bule H’mong and White Thai people. Upon arrival in Mu Cang Chai, stretch your legs on a walking tour to visit Thais’ houses-on-stilts.
You have the opportunity to enjoy a performance of traditional music and dance of Thai people. Overnight in a local house.
DAY 3: MU CANG CHAI – THAN UYEN – SAPA (B/L/D)

DAY 2: NGHIA LO - MU CANG CHAI (B/L/D)

DAY 3: MU CANG CHAI – THAN UYEN – SAPA (B/L/D)
Depart by car for Than Uyen, home of the White Thai monorities as well as the rice bowl of the area. Proceed to Sapa, passing through an area inhabited by Bule Hmong, Thai, Dzao and Lu people. Sapa is a resort town founded in 1922 by the French. Located 360 km from Hanoi, it is a very beautiful region and home to Black H’mong, Red Dzao, Giay and Xa Pho hilltribe people. Overnight in Sapa.
DAY 4: SAPA (B/L/D)
Today trek through Lao Chai & Tavan, home to Black H’mong & Giay hilltribes people. Overnight in Sapa.
DAY 5: SAPA - MUONG HUM (B/L/D)
Drive to Muong Hum and visit Red Dzao, Giay and Black Ha Nhi minority villages during a trekking tour. Overnight at a local home.
DAY 6: MUONG HUM - LAO CAI – COC LY – BAC HA (B/L/D)
DAY 4: SAPA (B/L/D)
Today trek through Lao Chai & Tavan, home to Black H’mong & Giay hilltribes people. Overnight in Sapa.
DAY 5: SAPA - MUONG HUM (B/L/D)
Drive to Muong Hum and visit Red Dzao, Giay and Black Ha Nhi minority villages during a trekking tour. Overnight at a local home.
DAY 6: MUONG HUM - LAO CAI – COC LY – BAC HA (B/L/D)
Depart for Coc Ly via the border town of Lao Cai. Upon arrival in Coc Ly, enjoy a boat trip on Chay river and discover minority villages of the striped H’mong and Tay. Continue to Bac Ha. Overnight in Bac Ha.
DAY 7: BAC HA – CAN CAU – THAC BA LAKE (B/L/D)
Depart for Can Cau market (held on Saturdays only). This extraordinary outdoor market offers a colorful display of various hill-tribe peoples gathering here to trade and barter. Proceed onto Thac Ba Lake. Overnight on stilt-house of White Dzao peoples.
DAY 8: THAC BA - HANOI (B/L/-)
In the morning, enjoy a boat ride on Thac Ba Lake. This artificial lake has an area of 23,400 ha and 1,331 islands and hills with diverse ecological environments. The water in the lake is blue and clear and imprinted with the reflections of the surrounding ancient forest.
